Kind Health Medical Practice Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Appointment Rescheduling & Cancellation
At Kind Health, we strive to provide timely and efficient care to all patients. To ensure fair scheduling practices, the following cancellation and rescheduling policy applies:

  • Rescheduling more than 24 hours before the appointment – No charge.

  • Canceling more than 24 hours before the appointment – $20 cancellation charge.

  • Rescheduling or canceling within 24 hours of the appointment – $20 rescheduling fee.

  • No-show (missed appointment without prior notice) – $50 charge.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:

  • A patient was charged in error due to a system issue.

  • A duplicate charge was made for the same appointment.

  • A refund request is made due to a billing discrepancy within 7 days of the charge.

  • The patient had a valid emergency but was still charged a no-show or late rescheduling fee (subject to review).

Refunds are NOT provided for:

  • Missed appointments or late cancellations outside of the stated policy.

  • Services that were rendered and completed.

  • Not receiving a prescription or medication – Payment is for the consultation itself, not for a prescription.

  • The decision to prescribe medication is at the discretion of the treating provider based on medical necessity and professional judgment.

  • Patients are not entitled to receive a prescription during any visit.

  • Insurance denials or out-of-network coverage issues if the patient was informed prior to the visit.

3. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, you may submit a request through the following methods:

Please include the following in your refund request:

  • Full Name & Date of Birth

  • Appointment Date & Time

  • Reason for Refund Request

  • Receipt or Transaction Details (if available)

4. Processing Time

Refund requests will be reviewed within 5-7 business days. If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.
